We saw swans in the Pawcatuck River. And then Annaliese fed her shoe to them. She's so stupid. (No offense.) So she was so excited to see swans that somehow her shoe came flying off of her foot and into the river. We were lucky because the river wasn't moving fast. We were unlucky because guess what? No don't, I'll tell you. We didn't find them. They got stuck in the bushes or drowned. Annaliese wanted to be lowered in with a rope to find them. We reminded her about our lack of rope situation but she didn't seem to care. She asked 10 more times. Then we went home defeated. Annaliese with one shoe.
More bad news. I got bit or stung by some sort of bee or a flying something else. Here's the story. Ok so we were on a boat enjoying the sunshine when this thing kept annoying me. This thing was a bug. An annoying one. I thought it went away. I continued to enjoy the sun when my arm started to ache. Kind of like when you're about to get sun burnt. I looked in the general direction where the pain was coming from and on my sleeve there was some blood. (No this is not to the tune of Old McDonald.) I thought it was blood but I wasn't sure because there wasn't any on my arm. There was, however, a tiny white bump like when you get a bug bite and there's a tiny white circle that itches a lot. This was the same except it ached. I told my mom and she said it looked like a bite or sting of some sort. I remembered the flying thing. Then we put some stuff on it. It was all better. Not the end. At school the next day I felt like I was going to pass out. A little. It was that feeling when you get a shot and afterwards you think you might pass out or throw up. My arm was like that all day. It was awful.
Melita has left the building.
