Guess who's in California? My sister.. My dad.. and Meeeeee!!!!! And like the rebel I am, I missed two days of school! WOOOOOO!! And we've already run out of things to do. We went for a Christmas caroling golf cart ride, we watched a movie, we went to the Jelly Belly factory and got a tour, and we went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Like what are we supposed to do for the next week? Just kidding! Your probably thinking, "Wait, did I hear her say Jelly Belly factory?" You thought correctly.
So as a Christmas present, Grandma and Grandpa bought us tickets to Six Flags! We were supposed to go Friday, but there was expected rain so we went yesterday. I mean yesterday there was expected rain, too, but not until 3:00 pm. We got up and dressed and left at about 10 so that we would have all morning to go on rides until it started raining. When we got there it was about 11 and it looked closed. We looked online and the park didn't open until 2 and we were an hour away from home. We really didn't want to go back. To make things even better, Grandma left her ID at home and you needed it to get in the park. (Before you get all nervous, it turns out okay.)
I had the brilliant idea of going to the Jelly Belly factory that we passed on the way here, while we were waiting. From now on think of me as "Melita The Lifesaver" because that was the funnest thing ever. We got to wear these cool hats and sample jelly beans. We even got a tour of the place. We weren't allowed to take any pictures, so.. sorry. The factory looked just like Willy Wonka's. Oompa Loompas putting jelly beans in packages and spinning them around in a polisher. We saw a video on how they printed their logo on every single one of them. It was all very interesting. And then afterwards we went to the gift shop and Grandpa bought 10 pounds of "Belly Flops." Belly Flops were the ones that were too big or too small and didn't make it past the screen thingy. (Like in Willy Wonka with the good eggs and bad eggs, they had good beans and bad beans.)
Then Six Flags was open, Grandma got through without her ID, it didn't rain at all and the lines were really short because of all the chickens who thought it was going to rain. Six Flags was really fun. I had gone to the same one about 3 years ago and I'm much braver now. Last time I wouldn't go on any of the scary rides, but this time I went on Medusa. My eyes were closed the whole time so the upside-downs weren't that bad. The scary part was my sister shrieking in my ear every 5 seconds reminding me that I was upside-down. Then, we went on again so that we could look for the camera and make better faces. It was really fun. There were lights and Christmas songs. Oh and also we saw a dolphin show and that was the coolest thing EVER. The dolphins were really talented and there was a guy water skiing on them. The tiger show was also the coolest thing EVER because the tiger was so cute and he acted just like a little kitty chasing yarn or something.

It's not about winning, it's about Christmas
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Everywhere you goooooo. I forgot the rest of the song but keep reading this to the tune..da...da..da.............da......da....da.
Time for some gift exchanging. Today Grace and Sam came over and we gave each other some a' presents. Let's see. I got a cell phone holder from Sam and a "Nightmare Before Christmas"-looking owl statue from Grace. I thank my fan club for those wonderful gifts. I got Sam a peppermint scented candle and I didn't like Grace enough to get her anything. Just kidding. I'm a kidder like that. I actually ordered her something that's not here, yet. Then we went shopping downtown, and even though I had a cell phone holder, I still managed to leave my phone at the store so we had to walk back and get it. Oops.
After that, we made a gingerbread house. It, um, looked great. And we made absolutely no mess at all. (Is there any way to read sarcasm?) We actually made quite a huge mess and it looked delicious, but not exactly "great." But it was ok because it's not about winning or losing, it's about having fun.
Tomorrow we are having "Mini Christmas" at my dad's house. Opening presents from my parents before opening presents from my relatives in California, which we leave for on Wednesday. There are just too many presents going around.
