It Ends with a Happy Ever After

Yesterday we took a henna workshop at the library and learned how to do henna. Actually henna is just the paste. The art of doing henna is called mehndi. Are you supposed to capitalize ancient words? I don't know. Maybe I should. I don't know but we got to try it out and my mom did a pretty bracelet looking thing on me and I made some designs on my finger.

We went to the beach again today. Imagine that? So I was just lying there on the sand. It was such a weird feeling. The water coming out of my ears. So weird, in fact, that I giggled. I had just gotten out of the water. Yesterday it had rained. Such rain, in fact, that there were 10 foot waves. My mother studies the ocean. She would know how tall the waves were and she said some of them were 10 feet. Yet for some reason she let her super excited kids in the water. The waves could have, in fact, killed us. In fact, I'm saying "in fact" so much that I'm annoying myself. I'll stop now and continue the story. Ok, there's not much more to the story except that in the end of our beach day we got stuck in a little rip current. We were fine. No worries. Then later we went out and had lobster. I had grilled cheese because lobster smells weird to me. Then we went to the River Glow downtown and it ended with a Happy Ever After.
